Estonian Cognitive Linguistics Association
Estonian Cognitive Linguistics Association (henceforth ECLA) was formed in 2007 in Tartu.
ECLA functions as a forum of cooperation for both senior and junior scholars engaged in research in cognitive linguistics and the related branches. The main objectives of ECLA are to promote cognitive and other theoretical linguistic activities in Estonia; to develop cooperation between Estonian and foreign scholars and students of cognitive linguistics and the related branches, in particular, cooperation with ICLA; to organize conferences, seminars, research days, training courses and other events; to set up and carry out research projects; and to promote research and teaching related to all areas of cognitive linguistics in Estonia.
